About
The "Colț de Rai" Complex is located in the Dognecea commune, situated on the shore of Lake Mare, in an area with a rich history marked by the exploitation of the first copper mine, Simon&Juda, and a non-ferrous metal foundry that operated until the end of the 19th century. The guesthouse is surrounded by picturesque landscapes, including the Water Lily Lake and the gentle fir tree forests.
The beauty of the place has been renowned since the time of Empress Maria Theresa, not only due to the purity of the water in the area but also because of the oxygen enriched with negative ions. The concentrated air from the Dognecei Mountains is comparable to that of a balneo-climatic resort.
